DROP DEAD DATE: Afterburner will stop working after January 31, 1996. GENERAL NOTES: Afterburner is a post-processor for Director movies that compresses and makes them ready for uploading to an HTTP server, from which they'll be available to Internet users. Movies compressed through Afterburner, use a .DCR extension to identify them. HTTP servers should set the MIME-Type for .DCR files to: application/x-director This release includes the developer beta version of Afterburner.
